How is Athletes' Edge different from other physical therapy clinics in Austin?

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients see significant improvements in 6-8 sessions, compared to 12+ at traditional clinics. Our specialized, one-on-one approach typically delivers faster results and better long-term outcomes.

Do you accept insurance?

We operate outside the insurance model to provide higher quality, personalized care without restrictions. This means more one-on-one time, advanced treatment techniques, and ultimately, faster results.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No. Texas allows direct access to physical therapy, meaning you can book directly with us without a physician referral. This gets you started on recovery sooner.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Comfortable athletic clothing that allows for movement assessment and access to the injured area. For lower body injuries, shorts are recommended. For upper body, tank tops or sports bras for women.

How soon can I get an appointment?

We typically have availability within 24-48 hours for new patients. We understand that when you're in pain or sidelined from your sport, every day counts.
